Proverb 箴 言 19:15-19
15 Laziness brings on deep sleep, and the shiftless man goes hungry.
16 He who obeys instructions guards his life, but he who is contemptuous of his ways will die.
17 He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done.
18 Discipline your son, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to his death.
19 A hot-tempered man must pay the penalty; if you rescue him, you will have to do it again.
15 懶 惰 使 人 沉 睡 ； 懈 怠 的 人 必 受 飢 餓 。
16 謹 守 誡 命 的 ， 保 全 生 命 ； 輕 忽 己 路 的 ， 必 致 死 亡 。

Proverb 箴 言 14:1-18, 21
God's Love and Ours
1 The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down.
2 He whose walk is upright fears the LORD, but he whose ways are devious despises him.
3 A fool's talk brings a rod to his back, but the lips of the wise protect them.
4 Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty, but from the strength of an ox comes an abundant harvest.
5 A truthful witness does not deceive, but a false witness pours out lies.
6 The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning.
7 Stay away from a foolish man, for you will not find knowledge on his lips.
8 The wisdom of the prudent is to give thought to their ways, but the folly of fools is deception.
9 Fools mock at making amends for sin, but goodwill is found among the upright.
10 Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy.
11 The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.
12 There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.
13 Even in laughter the heart may ache, and joy may end in grief.
14 The faithless will be fully repaid for their ways, and the good man rewarded for his.
15 A simple man believes anything, but a prudent man gives thought to his steps.
16 A wise man fears the LORD and shuns evil, but a fool is hotheaded and reckless.
17 A quick-tempered man does foolish things, and a crafty man is hated.
18 The simple inherit folly, but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.
21 He who despises his neighbor sins, but blessed is he who is kind to the needy.
1 智 慧 婦 人 建 立 家 室 ； 愚 妄 婦 人 親 手 拆 毀 。
2 行 動 正 直 的 ， 敬 畏 耶 和 華 ； 行 事 乖 僻 的 ， 卻 藐 視 他 。
3 愚 妄 人 口 中 驕 傲 ， 如 杖 責 打 己 身 ； 智 慧 人 的 嘴 必 保 守 自 己 。
4 家 裡 無 牛 ， 槽 頭 乾 淨 ； 土 產 加 多 乃 憑 牛 力 。
5 誠 實 見 證 人 不 說 謊 話 ； 假 見 證 人 吐 出 謊 言 。
6 褻 慢 人 尋 智 慧 ， 卻 尋 不 著 ； 聰 明 人 易 得 知 識 。

Luke 路 加 福 音 6:17-38
Love
17 He went down with them and stood on a level place. A large crowd of his disciples was there and a great number of people from all over Judea, from Jerusalem, and from the coast of Tyre and Sidon,
18 who had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases. Those troubled by evil spirits were cured,
19 and the people all tried to touch him, because power was coming from him and healing them all.
20 Looking at his disciples, he said: "Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
21 Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.
22 Blessed are you when men hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.
23 "Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For that is how their fathers treated the prophets.
24 "But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort.
25 Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will go hungry. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.
26 Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets.
27 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic.
30 Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.
31 Do to others as you would have them do to you.
32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' love those who love them.
33 And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' do that.
34 And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even 'sinners' lend to 'sinners,' expecting to be repaid in full.
35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
17 耶 穌 和 他 們 下 了 山 ， 站 在 一 塊 平 地 上 ； 同 站 的 有 許 多 門 徒 ， 又 有 許 多 百 姓 ， 從 猶 太 全 地 和 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 並 推 羅 、 西 頓 的 海 邊 來 ， 都 要 聽 他 講 道 ， 又 指 望 醫 治 他 們 的 病 ；
18 還 有 被 污 鬼 纏 磨 的 ， 也 得 了 醫 治 。
19 眾 人 都 想 要 摸 他 ； 因 為 有 能 力 從 他 身 上 發 出 來 ， 醫 好 了 他 們 。
20 耶 穌 舉 目 看 著 門 徒 ， 說 ： 你 們 貧 窮 的 人 有 福 了 ！ 因 為 神 的 國 是 你 們 的 。
21 你 們 飢 餓 的 人 有 福 了 ！ 因 為 你 們 將 要 飽 足 。 你 們 哀 哭 的 人 有 福 了 ！ 因 為 你 們 將 要 喜 笑 。
22 人 為 人 子 恨 惡 你 們 ， 拒 絕 你 們 ， 辱 罵 你 們 ， 棄 掉 你 們 的 名 ， 以 為 是 惡 ， 你 們 就 有 福 了 ！
23 當 那 日 ， 你 們 要 歡 喜 跳 躍 ， 因 為 你 們 在 天 上 的 賞 賜 是 大 的 。 他 們 的 祖 宗 待 先 知 也 是 這 樣 。
24 但 你 們 富 足 的 人 有 禍 了 ！ 因 為 你 們 受 過 你 們 的 安 慰 。
25 你 們 飽 足 的 人 有 禍 了 ！ 因 為 你 們 將 要 飢 餓 。 你 們 喜 笑 的 人 有 禍 了 ！ 因 為 你 們 將 要 哀 慟 哭 泣 。
26 人 都 說 你 們 好 的 時 候 ， 你 們 就 有 禍 了 ！ 因 為 他 們 的 祖 宗 待 假 先 知 也 是 這 樣 。
27 只 是 我 告 訴 你 們 這 聽 道 的 人 ， 你 們 的 仇 敵 ， 要 愛 他 ！ 恨 你 們 的 ， 要 待 他 好 ！
28 咒 詛 你 們 的 ， 要 為 他 祝 福 ！ 凌 辱 你 們 的 ， 要 為 他 禱 告 ！
29 有 人 打 你 這 邊 的 臉 ， 連 那 邊 的 臉 也 由 他 打 。 有 人 奪 你 的 外 衣 ， 連 裡 衣 也 由 他 拿 去 。
30 凡 求 你 的 ， 就 給 他 。 有 人 奪 你 的 東 西 去 ， 不 用 再 要 回 來 。
31 你 們 願 意 人 怎 樣 待 你 們 ， 你 們 也 要 怎 樣 待 人 。
32 你 們 若 單 愛 那 愛 你 們 的 人 ， 有 甚 麼 可 酬 謝 的 呢 ？ 就 是 罪 人 也 愛 那 愛 他 們 的 人 。
33 你 們 若 善 待 那 善 待 你 們 的 人 ， 有 甚 麼 可 酬 謝 的 呢 ？ 就 是 罪 人 也 是 這 樣 行 。
34 你 們 若 借 給 人 ， 指 望 從 他 收 回 ， 有 甚 麼 可 酬 謝 的 呢 ？ 就 是 罪 人 也 借 給 罪 人 ， 要 如 數 收 回 。
35 你 們 倒 要 愛 仇 敵 ， 也 要 善 待 他 們 ， 並 要 借 給 人 不 指 望 償 還 ， 你 們 的 賞 賜 就 必 大 了 ， 你 們 也 必 作 至 高 者 的 兒 子 ； 因 為 他 恩 待 那 忘 恩 的 和 作 惡 的 。
36 你 們 要 慈 悲 ， 像 你 們 的 父 慈 悲 一 樣 。
37 你 們 不 要 論 斷 人 ， 就 不 被 論 斷 ； 你 們 不 要 定 人 的 罪 ， 就 不 被 定 罪 ； 你 們 要 饒 恕 人 ， 就 必 蒙 饒 恕 （ 饒 恕 ： 原 文 作 釋 放 ）；
38 你 們 要 給 人 ， 就 必 有 給 你 們 的 ， 並 且 用 十 足 的 升 斗 ， 連 搖 帶 按 ， 上 尖 下 流 的 倒 在 你 們 懷 裡 ； 因 為 你 們 用 甚 麼 量 器 量 給 人 ， 也 必 用 甚 麼 量 器 量 給 你 們 。

1 Timothy 提 摩 太 前 書 6:17-18
17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.
17 你 要 囑 咐 那 些 今 世 富 足 的 人 ， 不 要 自 高 ， 也 不 要 倚 靠 無 定 的 錢 財 ； 只 要 倚 靠 那 厚 賜 百 物 給 我 們 享 受 的 神 。
18 又 要 囑 咐 他 們 行 善 ， 在 好 事 上 富 足 ， 甘 心 施 捨 ， 樂 意 供 給 （ 或 作 ： 體 貼 ） 人 ，

1 Corinthians 歌 林 多 前 書 13:1-13
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.
12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
1 我 若 能 說 萬 人 的 方 言 ， 並 天 使 的 話 語 ， 卻 沒 有 愛 ， 我 就 成 了 鳴 的 鑼 ， 響 的 鈸 一 般 。
2 我 若 有 先 知 講 道 之 能 ， 也 明 白 各 樣 的 奧 祕 ， 各 樣 的 知 識 ， 而 且 有 全 備 的 信 ， 叫 我 能 夠 移 山 ， 卻 沒 有 愛 ， 我 就 算 不 得 甚 麼 。
3 我 若 將 所 有 的 賙 濟 窮 人 ， 又 捨 己 身 叫 人 焚 燒 ， 卻 沒 有 愛 ， 仍 然 與 我 無 益 。
4 愛 是 恆 久 忍 耐 ， 又 有 恩 慈 ； 愛 是 不 嫉 妒 ； 愛 是 不 自 誇 ， 不 張 狂 ，
5 不 做 害 羞 的 事 ， 不 求 自 己 的 益 處 ， 不 輕 易 發 怒 ， 不 計 算 人 的 惡 ，
6 不 喜 歡 不 義 ， 只 喜 歡 真 理 ；
7 凡 事 包 容 ， 凡 事 相 信 ， 凡 事 盼 望 ， 凡 事 忍 耐 。
8 愛 是 永 不 止 息 。 先 知 講 道 之 能 終 必 歸 於 無 有 ； 說 方 言 之 能 終 必 停 止 ； 知 識 也 終 必 歸 於 無 有 。
9 我 們 現 在 所 知 道 的 有 限 ， 先 知 所 講 的 也 有 限 ，
10 等 那 完 全 的 來 到 ， 這 有 限 的 必 歸 於 無 有 了 。
11 我 作 孩 子 的 時 候 ， 話 語 像 孩 子 ， 心 思 像 孩 子 ， 意 念 像 孩 子 ， 既 成 了 人 ， 就 把 孩 子 的 事 丟 棄 了 。
12 我 們 如 今 彷 彿 對 著 鏡 子 觀 看 ， 糢 糊 不 清 （ 原 文 作 ： 如 同 猜 謎 ） ； 到 那 時 就 要 面 對 面 了 。 我 如 今 所 知 道 的 有 限 ， 到 那 時 就 全 知 道 ， 如 同 主 知 道 我 一 樣 。
13 如 今 常 存 的 有 信 ， 有 望 ， 有 愛 這 三 樣 ， 其 中 最 大 的 是 愛 。
